College Survival Skills Workshops
Free tutoring, testing, and survival workshops are available to all full-time and part-time KVCTC students through the Student Success Center. Peer and professional tutors are selected for their academic abilities and motivation to help students. The Center has individual and small group tutoring areas. KVCTC students may request tutoring at any time, the earlier the better.
*Note: We do not have tutors for all courses.

Assistance in math, English, reading, and science courses
Help researching career pathways and setting goals
Assessment to determine readiness for a college course or standardized test
Help preparing for upcoming college courses
Test-preparation for the KAPLAN Nursing Entrance Test, ACT, GED, PPST, and other standardized tests
Our services are free for all KVCTC students as well as students who are preparing to enter or re-enter college. We provide ongoing academic support and help students reach their long-term goals.
